Reading a push/fold range
At 10bb and under, raising small and folding to a shove throws away too much of your stack, so the published charts are shove or fold. The range is widest from the small blind, with one player left to act, and tightest under the gun, with seven. A shorter stack shoves wider from every seat. The ante matters too: it adds dead money, so the same seat shoves more hands with an ante than without one. There is more in push/fold charts explained and on the push/fold charts page.
